Why is 1/2 divide by 1/2 = 1?

Reason is because when we divide, we are actually forming groups. Therefore, 1/2 divide by 1/2 means how many 1/2s can go into 1/2. The answer is 1!!

Similarly, if we have 1/4 divide by 1/8, we ask the question, how many 1/8 can go into 1/4 and it's 2 1/8s make 1/4!!
